Hungary and China could set up a centre for developing, testing and certifying new energy vehicles and their energy storage systems in Zalaegerszeg (W Hungary), the ZalaZONE Automotive Proving Ground told MTI.
The China-US Green Fund, Zhongzhi Zhitong Testing Technology and Automotive Proving Ground Zala have signed a memorandum of understanding on establishing an alternative energy ecosystem around ZalaZONE with joint investments.
The initiative is expected to accelerate technological innovation in the automotive and energy industries, as well as create jobs, give new opportunities to suppliers and draw more international investment to Hungary.
