The motorcyclist whose vehicle crashed on Highway 174 on Tuesday has died, the Ottawa Police Service said Friday night.

A media release containing that update also repeated a request from police for for any person who witnessed the crash or may have dashcam video of it to contact the Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.

The crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on July 29 on the westbound portion of Highway 174 near Blair Road in Ottawa’s east end.
