The Oukitel WP210 is expected to offer excellent value for money, combining a fast MediaTek Dimensity chip with a 108-MP main camera, a particularly large battery and a robust housing. The device is expected to launch soon for the equivalent of under $400.

The Oukitel WP210 is scheduled to be officially unveiled in mid-August. GSMArena has now published two images and key details about the features and price of the mid-range smartphone. According to the report, the Oukitel WP210 will launch at the end of August for less than US$400.

The mid-range smartphone is expected to impress with a particularly robust housing that is IP68 and IP69K certified and has been tested according to the MIL-STD-810H standard. This makes the housing relatively thick and heavy, measuring 13.7 millimeters tall and weighing 311 grams. Oukitel has used the extra space to install a relatively large 8,800 mAh battery, which can be charged via USB-C with up to 45 watts. The smartphone can also be used as a power bank via 10 watts of reverse charging.

Oukitel is reportedly installing a MediaTek Dimensity 8200, a 4 nm ARM chip that houses four Cortex-A78 performance cores with boost clock speeds of up to 3.1 GHz and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. This makes the WP210 significantly more powerful than outdoor smartphones with the MediaTek Helio G99, which should give the device a more attractive price-performance ratio.

According to further information from GSMArena, the Oukitel WP210 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1,080p+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of 550 nits. The fingerprint sensor is said to be invisibly integrated into the display, while the 32-MP selfie camera is housed in a punch hole. The large, round camera module accommodates a 108-MP main camera and two 2-MP sensors.
