DURBAN – One person has died and two others were critically injured after two vehicles collided on the N2 in Zinkwazi in KwaZulu-Natal.

The driver of one vehicle was trapped in his car and had to be pulled out with the help of the KDM Fire Department.

Both surviving patients were then transported to hospitals.

This is the second accident to take place on the same stretch of road.

Earlier in the day, two other vehicles were also involved in a head-on collision.
