Aukey is launching a new “Ark” charging dock that uses Qi2 and has little orbs that you can detach to charge your phone anywhere, and Pixel 10 owners should be looking forward to it.
The Aukey MagFusion Ark charging base is, as the company says, the first “modular” wireless charger with Qi2 25W support. The modularity comes in the form of detachable “spheres” that each support 25W charging – the max speed supported by Pixel 10 Pro XL – whether they’re on the main dock or not. Each sphere has a 6,700 mAh battery inside, so you can pick it up and charge your phone anywhere. Then, you just drop the sphere back on the dock to recharge it, while also charging your phone.
When each sphere is not on the dock, the dock itself can charge your phone or other Qi devices, acting as a traditional wireless charging base.
Aukey explains:
MagFusion Ark features a base that supports up to three devices, combined with three detachable spheres, for a total of six charging points. Each module is built on the Qi2.2 wireless charging standard and delivers up to 25W fast charging, making it easy to power up to six smartphones simultaneously—ideal for households, shared living spaces, and office environments.
When docked, the spheres wirelessly recharge from the base while simultaneously charging devices placed on them. When detached, they transform into portable 6700 mAh power banks, enabling a “drop-to-charge, grab-to-go” experience.
If you don’t want to charge the sphere on the dock, each one also has a USB-C port for both recharging or wired charging of another device. The spheres also has active cooling too.
It’s a pretty wild, and really fun use of Qi wireless charging. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but Aukey says the dock will be sold with one, two, or three spheres, while also selling the spheres independently.
The Aukey MagFusion Ark launches in early 2026. Would you buy one?
