Firefighters say they observed a single vehicle on its roof as a result of a rollover, and with police assistance, established a safe zone and closed the highway.

On scene, four occupants were located, including three who had been ejected from the vehicle, and one who was entrapped. A 24 year old male was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.

Fire crews used extrication tools to remove the entrapped occupant from the vehicle.

A 21 year old male, 24 year old male and 22 year old female were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
