One person was seriously injured and eight others hurt after a car was driven onto a pavement in Kowloon Bay on Monday afternoon. Police were alerted to the accident on Lam Hing Street near Metro Centre II at around 12.40pm. A car passenger, 75, suffered serious injuries to her head and ribs after being thrown out of the vehicle. Police said she was believed not to have been wearing a seatbelt.
