Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun said the company currently has no plans to enter the U.S. car market, after photos showed a Xiaomi SU7 Max driving on California’s I-5 interstate with local test plates. He said the vehicle was likely purchased by U.S. peers or suppliers for benchmarking, rather than being part of any market entry plan.
