The Digiera HoloMax has debuted at IFA 2025 with a glasses-free 3D display, smart eye tracking, and real-time 2D-to-3D conversion powered by AstraDepth3D and AI. Available in three AMD-powered tiers, the handheld-laptop hybrid offers up to 64 GB RAM, 4 TB storage, and magnetic controllers for portable gaming.

Digiera has unveiled the HoloMax handheld gaming PC with a glasses-free 3D screen at IFA 2025.

Although unconfirmed, the glasses-free 3D screen specifications mirror those used by the Tencent Sunday Dragon prototype and upcoming Abxylute 3D One gaming handheld PC. The 120Hz 10.95-inch screen has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. The system uses smart eye tracking to direct the 3D image correctly into the user’s eyes, even as they move about. The system utilizes AstraDepth3D and AI technology to automatically convert most 2D content and games into realistic 3D in real-time, according to Digiera.

The low-end model comes with an 8C/16T AMD R7-8840U CPU, 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. The mid-range model upgrades the RAM to 64 GB and the storage to 2 TB. The high-end model comes with a 12C/24T AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU, 64 GB of RAM, and 4 TB of storage.

The three configurations have a super early bird price of $1,699, $1,999, or $2,399 when the project launches soon on Kickstarter. VIP members who place a reservation with a $30 deposit are given a discounted price of $1,499, $1,699, or $1,999. Interested readers can sign up for email notification of the Kickstarter project launch in October 2025.

All models use a 4200 rpm fan with dual copper heat pipes and an aluminum heat sink to keep the 374 x 171 x 15.9 mm (14.7 x 6.7 x 0.6 in.) tablet cool during gaming. The left and right controllers can be attached magnetically to the 870 g (1.91 lbs.) tablet for use, used as separate, wireless controllers using each unit’s 650 mAh battery, or attached to both sides of a 2,100 mAh bridging dock for wireless use. The controllers use Hall effect joysticks and linear triggers.

The HoloMax has a 7,200 mAh battery rated for up to 3.3 hours of gaming, 8 hours of office work, and 10 hours of movie viewing, according to the company. The HoloMax body has one USB-C 4.0 port supporting charging and external displays, one USB-C port, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, one 3.5 mm headphone jack, and one HDMI 2.1 port. An adjustable stand and detachable keyboard are included for use as a laptop.
