‘Galaxy Glasses’ with Android XR reportedly match the battery on Meta Ray-Ban Display

‘Galaxy Glasses’ with Android XR reportedly match the battery on Meta Ray-Ban Display

According to a new report, Samsung’s first Android XR glasses, “Galaxy Glasses,” may end up having the same battery size as the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses.

SamMobile reports that the “Galaxy Glasses” will be powered by a 245 mAh battery. That’s roughly the same size as the Meta Ray-Ban Display which have a 248 mAh battery in the glasses. Meta says that should last six hours.

It’s not yet clear how long the battery on Samsung’s glasses would last, but the battery capacity alone signals that, yes, these would have a display. For comparison, the non-display Ray-Ban smart glasses are closer to 150 mAh~.

The same report here also mentions that Galaxy Watch 9, the larger 44mm size, will ship with a 435 mAh battery. That’s the same size as the Galaxy Watch 8. Meanwhile, Galaxy Tab S12+ would be somewhere around 10,500 mAh for a moderate bump over the Galaxy Tab S10+.
