Maruti Suzuki India recently updated the Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Maruti Brezzza SUV with

six airbags

as standard across all various with increased price. And now, the company has updated the

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10

with six airbags as standard across all variants. With the update, the price of the Alto K10 has been hiked by Rs 16,000, depending upon the variant.

The new Maruti Alto K10 is offered in four main variants – Standard, LXi, VXi, and VXi+, with a starting price of Rs 4.23 lakh (ex-showroom). The base model is now Rs 14,000 more expensive than before, while the LXi, VXi, and VXi+ variants have seen price hikes of Rs 6,000, Rs 16,000, and Rs 10,000, respectively.
In terms of features, it gets a 7-inch Smart Play

infotainment system

with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering-mounted controls, a digital speedometer and a four-speaker audio system. Other safety features include

ABS with EBD

, ESP, rear parking sensors, and three-point seat belts for all passengers.

Talking about the engine, it continues to get a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, NA petrol engine which puts out 67hp of power and 89Nm of torque. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual or an AMT, it also gets a CNG option. It has claimed

of 24.39 kpl for the manual versions and 24.90 kpl for the automatic versions and of 33.85km/kg for

CNG variants
