Nord hands over 50 High-Capacity CNG-powered buses to the Federal Government through the Ministry of Finance.
The 50 CNG-powered “Nord CICA” buses were officially handed over to the FG at the company’s assembly facility in Epe, Lagos.

Indigenous automaker, Nord Automobiles, has announced the delivery of fifty (50) high-capacity, ultra-modern Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) city buses to the to the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Ministry of Finance.
In a statement on December 2nd, Nord explained that the 50 CNG-powered “Nord CICA” buses were officially handed over to the Federal Government of Nigeria at the company’s assembly facility in Epe, Lagos.

“We have officially completed the handover and delivery of 50 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Nord CICA buses to the Federal Government of Nigeria at our factory in Epe, a significant step in supporting Nigeria’s shift toward cleaner and more efficient mobility.”
“This milestone was made possible through the support of the Ministry of Finance and the deployment leadership of P-CNGi. We remain committed to building reliable mobility solutions that make life better, propels our economy, reduce emissions, all at the best value.”


In a separate statement, Nord CEO Oluwatobi Ajayi also thanked the Presidential CNG Initiative (PCNGi), noting that the agency will determine the nationwide distribution of the buses.
