A new leak reveals OnePlus is working on two new Android tablets. The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro is tipped to feature a flagship Snapdragon chipset along with a large display. Meanwhile, there is also a compact tablet expected to be in the works.
The OnePlus Pad 3 was released last year in the global market. The highlights of the flagship tablet included a 13.2-inch display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a 12,140mAh battery.
Now, a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that OnePlus is working on the Pad 3 Pro. The display size will reportedly match the 13.2-inch panel on the Pad 3. However, the major upgrade is expected to be in terms of performance. It is tipped to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which is also used in the company’s flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15 (curr. $899 on Amazon).
The tipster claims the Pad 3 Pro will come with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The leaked color options include titanium and green. The leak suggests the tablet will pack a large battery, though the exact capacity remains unknown.
Apart from the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro, the company is reportedly working on a compact tablet with an 8.8-inch screen. It will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a sub-flagship Qualcomm processor. The tablet is also tipped to have a variant with a “soft light” display.
The leak suggests that the Pad 3 Pro will be launched first, with the compact tablet launching afterward. It is unclear whether the tablets will launch in the global market or stay exclusive to China.
