A Hyundai Veloster speeding on the M40 has been seized by Thames Valley Police.
An unmarked police vehicle was at Junction 8A of the motorway near to Wheatley when it spotted the car speeding.
The Hyundai was stopped and document checks revealed that not only did the driver only have a provisional licence but also that it was expired.
Police seized the Hyundai (Image: TVP) As such the vehicle was seized and the driver has been reported.
A spokesperson for the Road Policing team said: “Vehicle passed unmarked police vehicle on M40 near to Junction 8A at excess speed.
“Vehicle stopped. Document checks revealed driver had an expired UK provisional drivers’ licence. Not being supervised.
“Vehicle seized. Driver reported.”
