ABUJA – The Progressives Forum (TPF) has congratulated its National Leader, Barr. Ismaeel Ahmed, on his appointment as the Executive Chairman of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGi) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the move as a well-deserved recognition of his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and party development.
In a statement signed by TPF Interim National Chairman, Abuh Andrew, and Interim National Secretary, Segun Tomori, the group hailed Ahmed’s pivotal role in energizing the All Progressives Congress (APC) youth base through the creation of the All Progressives Youth Forum (APYF) which later evolved into the TPF and for championing young voices in national politics.
The forum also commended Ahmed’s outstanding performance as Senior Special Assistant to former President Muhammadu Buhari on the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), where he helped deliver key interventions for millions of vulnerable Nigerians, as well as his impactful tenure as the National Youth Representative on the APC Caretaker Committee.
TPF thanked President Tinubu for rewarding loyalty, competence and dedication with this strategic appointment, expressing confidence that Barr. Ahmed will exceed expectations and drive the success of the PCNGi in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“Congratulations, Leader! Your journey inspires us all. We stand firmly behind you as you lead this new charge,” the statement read.
