Police are investigating a shooting in Enterprise on Monday night that left two teenagers wounded.

Around 8 p.m., the victims were walking along Freedom Street when a white or silver Kia Cerato drove up from behind them. Three men exited the vehicle, two of whom were armed, and opened fire.

The teens were struck several times, sustaining gunshot wounds to the back, leg, and hip. The attackers then got back into the vehicle and sped off along Freedom Street.

Residents alerted police, and the injured teens were taken to the Chaguanas Health Facility before being transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex. They were listed in stable condition up to Tuesday.

Responding officers cordoned off the scene and recovered several spent shell casings.
